Weird Steel Sculptures
Sculptor Jud Turner turns found objects and materials into intriguing weird forms, often rusted, old machine parts from places such as BRING Recycling.
He uses bits of thin steel to carefully build figures like human skulls, a skeleton on bike, a weird fish and a wild hog, among others. Turner thinks that it is something satisfying with sculptor-making because it reminds him of his childhood. The reason why he chose steel is because it’s cheap and extremely flexible so it’s easy to work with. He haunts thrift shops and hardware stores in search of raw art material.
So I guess not many of you would not like to have this art work in your living room, but you got to admit that he has a unique style.
