Religious Sanctuaries Made Out Of Guns And Ammunition

Bullets, guns and steel are the three things that are combined in this amazing sculpture work. But why would you want to pair up weapon with religion?
Artist Al Farrow makes us all speechless, gun enthusiast or not, everybody gets mighty impressed, whether it’s positive or negative. Ammunition, guns, firearm parts and artillery shells are used to create these reliquaries, which have long been important to Buddhists, Christians, Hindus and many other religions.
They are all miniature architectural pieces built on turmoil; beautiful mausoleums, high synagogues and lovely cathedrals, it’s all there. His masterpieces are placed in the Catherine Clark Gallery in San Francisco, California. And what he meant by mixing religion and ammunition, well that’s something only he knows. Steel has been used on other unusual pieces of sculptures, like these ones made by Jud Turner.
