Realistic Robot Dancer From Japan

Have you heard about the new robot dance? It has been upgraded to a more advanced level, and oh, it’s performed by a real robot this time.

Yes, that’s very true what you’ve just read. A HRP-4C female robot has learned how to dance for the Digital Content Expo in Tokyo. The popular dancer/choreographer SAM-san has worked with a team to teach the robot how to move to music with 4 other human females. It took them about a year to finish the learning process, and the performance called “Dance Robot LIVE! – HRP-4C Cybernetic Human” left the audience breathless.

Some in shock that it’s even possible while others in satisfaction. We just think it’s creepy that a robot can look that human-like, and even move lips and hips and everything there is to the beats of a Japanese hit song. But we all know that the robot obsession in Japan is getting bigger. They now even have robot cellphones that increases “physical presence” on a long distance communication.
