Moscow Metro In Life And On Postcard

Moscow Metro In Life And On Postcard

Recently the Moscow Metro had its 75th anniversary. Great idea to celebrate is this collection of postcards with great photos of the metro’s stations.

The Moscow Metro was opened in 1935 and is today the world’s second most heavily used rapid transit system with an average on 6,6 million passengers every day. It opened with only 11 stations which is of course expanded to 182 today. Student and rail fan Mikhail “Vokabre” Shcherbakov has paired up several of those postcards with the Moscow Metro in real life and photographed it and made the postcards look like transparent to the one-piece pictures. All in all this was a great way to be creative on the Moscow Metro’s anniversary, and if you would like to get those postcards you can buy them at several book shops in Moscow.

If we hear the word metro, it’s fabulous, shimmering, and elegant lifestyle…..great places.
