Vampire Identification Chart

Vampire Identification Chart

We’ve all witnessed the recent downfall of vampires from blood thirsty monsters that made their victims’ blood freeze to sparkling hunks that…well…sparkle.

Using a more scientific approach, Scott Beale did an awesome vampire identification chart that covers all the best known vampire portrayals in the last couple of decades.

From epic Nosferatu the Vampyre, the main character of Werner Herzog’s movie from 1979, to half-vampire half-human badass Wesley Snipes as Blade, the chart has the best blood sucking tough guys out there. On the other hand, there’s Count von Count from the Muppet Show whose counting skills aren’t that notorious, although his evil laughter gives us the creeps.

Test your knowledge on vampires in pop culture and try to identify every character on the chart. We already gave you the names of three of them, and there’s clues in their names to help you connect them with the movie or show they are from. Let us know how many characters you managed to identify!

Cereal Killer is Count Chocula (breakfast cereal)
The Knockoff is Nosferatu.. very early horror film, probably the first vampire film ever made.
The Mom is appears to be from Addams Family
Werewolf Hunter is definitely Selene from Underworld
Classic is pretty much your standard everyday vampire. The one you’d probably draw as a kid. Theres no specific character to name because well…its just a run of the mill vampire.
The One to Be Slayed is from Buffy…cant remember the name, but he’s the blond guy with curly hair
80s Teenager is from Keifer Sutherland’s character in Lost Boys. Probably one of the best vampires I can think of
      Halfbreed assassin is Blade
      Sparkly One is Edward Cullen
Mathematician is The Count from Sesame Street
The One that Didn’t Get Interviewed is from Interview with a Vampire.

    The Knockoff is Nosferatu
The Mom reminds me of Elvira, but that’s mostly because of the pose. (Elvira wasn’t even a vampire… I think…) or Morticia from the Addams Family.
The Werewolf Hunter is Seline from Underworld
The Classic is Bram Stoker’s Dracula
The Sparkly One is (duh) Edward Cullen from Twilight
I have no idea about the others sadly…
