Cult Movie Posters Now In 8 Bit Graphic

Great news for all retro gamers and movie buffs – now you can have your favorite movie poster framed on the wall, but in a retro 8 bit version!

The artist behind this project is Eric Palmer, who picked some of the classics like 2001: A Space Odyssey and Jurassic Park as well as popular features such as Tarantino’s Kill Bill: Vol. 1 and The Dark Knight and turned these movie posters into simplified versions with graphic level of Commodore 64 games. You can brag about being a fan of The Office Space with the poster of a giant stapler in 8 bit resolution, like a true hardcore nerd.

It’s needless to say that one of the posters represents the ultimate geek movie series – Star Wars, although it doesn’t portray any of the original posters but the famous scene where Vader finds General Motti’s lack of faith disturbing and force chokes him. As the comment on the graphic says – “Only Imperial stormtroopers are so precise”, reffering to the rough shapes drawn in 8 bit.
