Meet Eggbert The Living Egg

Meet Eggbert The Living Egg

We crack them open, we fry them, we boil them, we whip them, we eat them. We basically take eggs for granted. But what if we knew that they had real personalities?

Talented artist Vanessa Dualib from São Paulo in Brazil has given her ordinary white grocery eggs identities. With a black marker she draws faces on the eggs and puts them in many different and really funny settings before she photographs it. She has thoughtfully named the main egg Eggbert that is to be seen in ever photo, but he seems to stumble into new adventures all the time, or “eggventures” as Dualib calls it.

Throughout the whole set of photos you will notice how poor Eggbert is trying desperately to survive in this world full of omelets and fried eggs. Now and then he grabs some time to flirt with a couple of egg girls before reality hits him again. Vanessa describes Eggbert as a hero that is full of cholesterol as well as ideas, and that survival is his only true goal; we just hope he’ll make it.

And as Vanessa is playing with eggs, this artist is doing the same to her picnic by making it look like a Super Mario set.

It must be egg festival…colorful designs and it catches attention for everyone. If they really have personalities like above…..for sure I won’t cook them for several reasons
