A Super Mario Picnic

A Super Mario Picnic

What a geeky way to have a picnic. Sandwiches – check, cookies – check, wine – check, but wait a minute, this picnic is a bit different than the others.

The creator of this geeky picnic is the flickr user “supernomnom”. She created all this picnic food with the famous Nintendo video game Super Mario as the main setting. The mushroom Toads are delicious muffins, the bricks are crunchy toasts and brownies, and the Goombas are good-tasting chocolate cookies.

The only thing that is missing is a sunny weather forecast to complete this lovely picnic.

Super Mario is epic. But the picnic does not look edible, not that it has to be… ok maybe just the toasts…

“Devon Hotels”? This picnic was actually in Cockington, you could have come along! There was certainly enough food to go around, we were eating leftover mario goodies for about a week afterwards!
